Perched on one of the last great peaks of the Malibu Hills, Azure Crest stands with an unobstructed, panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean - a rare vantage point where sunrise and sunset can be experienced in a perfect, uninterrupted circle. This location reminded me of a majestic bird of prey perched at the top of a towering branch: elevated, aware, and connected to everything around it. From this height, nothing interrupts its view. It is the link between earth and sky - powerful yet protective, ready to take flight while sheltering those beneath its wings. That energy of precision, freedom, grace, and strength inspired the architecture of Azure Crest. My goal was to create a structure that channels this dynamic flow - an expression of nature’s physics, movement, and harmony. I was fortunate to find the perfect mountain peak to bring this vision to life. Azure Crest celebrates the blue sky, the land, and the limitless feeling of standing above it all..
