History of Amit Apel Design

As an exceptional fifth-generation designer, Amit Apel arrived on the shores of Southern California and purchased a modest Honda Magnum in 1999. Amit became a notable designer when he decided to open a humble art studio on the beaches of Malibu, where his first collectors opened the doors to his creativity.

In 2002, Amit Apel Design Inc. took root through Amit’s savvy entrepreneurial direction, and his sheer passion to create. The boutique-styled firm established its foundation on an array of award-winning residential designs, interior designs, and international resorts spanning from the Middle East to Asia.

Amit’s practice offers an assortment of residential design and planning services for both the present, and future. He embraces working with the city board’s stringent codes and creative challenges, while maintaining a dedicated focus on community design, mixed-material use, urban infill, restaurant planning, and unique custom design. Constantly striving to improve his designs, Amit applies sharp logic, impeccable planning, and newfound creativity, including the utilization of Green building practices that increase energy efficiency, while reducing the impact on human health, and the environment. Amit’s unconventional thinking has lead his firm of talented professionals to redefine the art of living. This allows his brand of residential design to be integrated into prestigious communities with an ever-expanding global scope.

In November 2008, Amit jumped at the opportunity to revamp his boutique firm into a spacious, two-story structure where he could exhibit his inner passions. In two short months, the firm celebrated its Art Studio opening on the 31st of January 2009, Metamorphosis: The Grand Opening of Studio Los Angeles.

In spring of 2009, a second Art Studio in the dazzling city of Las Vegas will begin to take shape. Studio Las Vegas will then fully blossom into an art studio that promotes ground breaking projects that utilizes recyclable materials, and renewable energies which will change the manner in how we can all be a part of the dynamic experience of life.
